Affordable websites in BC

A professional website for your business.
Starting at $500.

You don't need a $5,000 agency build or a DIY template you'll never finish. I make clean, professional one-page websites for small businesses across British Columbia, built by hand, priced fairly, and ready in under two weeks.

The problem

Most options are either too expensive or too generic.

If you're a small business owner in Vancouver, Victoria, or anywhere in BC, you've probably looked into getting a website and run into the same two options: pay an agency several thousand dollars for something overbuilt, or drag yourself through Wix or Squarespace on a Sunday afternoon and end up with something that looks like it.

There's a gap in the middle, and that's where I work. You shouldn't have to choose between paying thousands or settling for something generic.

What "affordable" doesn't mean

Let me be direct about this: affordable doesn't mean cheap, and it doesn't mean templated. Every site I build is designed from scratch for your business, your colours, your voice. There's no WordPress theme underneath, no page builder, no monthly subscription. You get clean, hand-written code that loads fast, looks sharp, and works on every device.

What you actually get for $500

A one-page scroll website, fully responsive, built to your brand. It includes your contact details clearly displayed, clean typography, and a layout designed to guide visitors toward the action you want them to take, whether that's calling you, booking an appointment, or sending an enquiry. Delivered in 7 to 10 days once I have your content. A working contact form is included from the Signature tier up.

The $500 covers the design and build. Hosting is separate. I offer a care plan at $350/year that includes fast, reliable hosting, SSL, backups, and three minor updates. You're welcome to host it yourself if you prefer, and you own the code either way.

If you need help with copy or don't have photos, my Signature package at $1,150 includes copywriting support, stock imagery, a revision round, and the first year of hosting. If you need multiple pages, the Full package at $1,800 gives you a home page plus three inner pages with more room for your content, and hosting is also included for the first year.

What $500 gets you.

About hosting

The $500 is for the build. Hosting is separate.

Every website needs hosting to stay online, and that's an ongoing cost. I offer a care plan at $350/year that covers hosting, SSL, backups, and three minor updates. It's optional, so if you'd rather host it yourself or already have hosting, that's completely fine. You own the code and can take it anywhere.

  • Fast, reliable Canadian hosting
  • SSL certificate & daily backups
  • 3 minor updates per year included
  • Extra updates at $60 each
  • No lock-in, leave any time

How it compares to the alternatives.

vs. Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress

DIY builders seem cheap until you add up the subscription fees, the premium template, the plugins, and the hours you spend fighting the editor. Your site often ends up looking like everyone else's anyway. After two years of Squarespace at $33/month, you've spent nearly $800 and you still don't own the site. With me, you pay once and the site is yours.

vs. A web design agency

Agencies in Vancouver typically charge $3,000 to $10,000+ for a small business website. That might make sense for a large company with complex needs, but if you're a sole proprietor, a small shop, or a practitioner in private practice, you probably don't need that level of build. You need something clean, professional, and finished, without draining your marketing budget.

vs. A freelancer on Fiverr

You can find someone to build a website for $200, but you'll typically get a WordPress theme with your logo dropped in, no revisions, and no one to call when something breaks. The sites I build are designed and coded by hand. I'm a real person based in Victoria, BC. I answer my emails, I fix what needs fixing, and I'm still here next year when you need an update.

Based in Victoria, working across BC.

I work remotely with small businesses across British Columbia, including Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, Nanaimo, and everywhere in between. You get the same timezone, the same work ethic, and the same attention whether you're across town or across the province.
